Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Oncology RN for an outpatient infusion clinic position in Lacey, WA, requiring chemotherapy certification and Epic proficiency.

Details

  • Outpatient oncology/infusion clinic setting
  • Patient population is approximately 85% hematology/oncology and 15% non-oncology infusions (rheumatology, GI, neurology, pulmonology)
  • Patients receive chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialty infusions
  • 5x8 day shifts, Monday–Friday, approximately 0730–1600 (start times may vary 0715–0745; shift ends when last patient is seen)
  • No weekend or holiday shifts required
  • Floating between all facilities within Washington state may be required
  • Epic EMR — experience required

Requirements

  • Active WA RN license or valid compact RN license currently in hand
  • Current BLS certification required
  • ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Certification required
  • OCN certification preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Infusion center or outpatient oncology experience required; inpatient oncology experience may be considered
  • IM and subcutaneous injection experience required
  • Therapeutic phlebotomy experience required
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and specialty infusions to oncology and non-oncology patient populations
  • 13-week contract
  • Former permanent Providence employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • RTO is expected to be minimal for this position
  • Candidates who have previously worked at any Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose location(s) and dates worked
