Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position in Pennsylvania, requiring ACLS, PALS, and NIH certifications with night shift availability.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Department (ED) of an acute care hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Required to work every other weekend
- No floating to other units for ED RNs
- Charting is performed in Cerner
- 13-week contract with the option to work blocks of 6 shifts
Requirements
- Active PA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Emergency Department nursing experience required
- Trauma experience preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates will not be considered
- Cerner experience is beneficial given its use in this unit
