Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg Neuro travel assignment in St. Louis, MO, requiring at least 2 years of experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Work on a 5N Neuro/Stroke/Med-Surg unit within a 356-bed academic medical center and Level I trauma center affiliated with Saint Louis University School of Medicine
• Patient diagnoses include stroke, neurology, neurosurgery, trauma overflow, and MS overflow
• Patient ratio is 1:5
• Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Float required within scope to Med/Surg and all hospital care areas, including ICU and ED for MS holds
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active MO RN license or Compact RN license (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Current certifications: BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• Academic teaching hospital providing tertiary care for the east Missouri region
• Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Navy blue scrubs required
