Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring night shift availability, Epic EMR proficiency, and an active SC or compact RN license.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Patient population includes orthopedic and bariatric cases on a telemetry unit
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Floating may be required to other like units or nearby hospital campuses based on census needs
• Pyxis medication dispensing system in use
• Epic EMR used; minimum 1 year of Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active SC RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience required
• Driver's license and Social Security Number required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are considered with a minimum of 3 years of specialty experience
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this night shift Med/Surg Tele position; candidates under 50 miles are not eligible
• When floating, staff will only be assigned to units where they are qualified and have demonstrated competencies
