Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department travel position requiring BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications on a night shift schedule.
Details
- Work in the Emergency Care unit of a hospital setting
- Provides emergency nursing care to patients with a range of acute and complex conditions
- Full time night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- 13-week assignment length
Requirements
- Active RN license in TX or compact required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
- 1 year of experience in emergency nursing preferred
- BSN preferred
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
- Administer medications and treatments while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided
- Assess learning needs and provide education to patients and families
- Must reside within a 50-mile radius to be eligible for local candidate consideration
- Candidates who have previously worked at a CHRISTUS facility in a non-travel role must be separated for 6 months prior to starting a travel assignment
