Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Inpatient Rehab Unit position on night shifts, requiring a KS or compact RN license and at least 2 years of recent med/surg or rehab experience.
Details
- Inpatient Rehab Unit located on the 4th floor of a hospital setting
- 16-bed unit with a team of approximately 20 staff members
- Patient population includes post-stroke, neuro/ortho surgical, and medical patients requiring increased therapy
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
- Rotating every 3rd weekend required
- Floating to any medical floor may be required
- EMR system: Meditech (rehab documentation knowledge preferred)
- Equipment used includes Welch Allyn devices
Requirements
- Active KS or compact RN license required
- BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted)
- ACLS or PALS preferred
- Basic Dysrhythmia course completion preferred
- CRRN certification preferred
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in med/surg or rehab
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- One professional reference required
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Royal blue scrub top and bottom required; black scrub bottoms are also acceptable
- Unit has received a Unit of Distinction Award
- Staff bring extensive experience with an average of approximately 20 years in inpatient rehab
- Highly engaged leadership with strong resources and support for inpatient rehab services
- Collaborative, team-oriented work environment
