Description
American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience for an outpatient clinic setting using Siemens equipment.
Details
- Outpatient clinic setting within a health system
- Performs MRI examinations across an adult acute care patient population
- Skills include general MRI exams, implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging
- Uses Siemens MRI equipment
- Epic charting preferred
- Schedule is Monday-Friday 5x8 hour day shifts, 12:30 PM-9:00 PM (4x10s or 3x12s may be considered)
- Weekend rotation includes Saturday shifts 8:00 AM-4:00 PM, with adjusted weekday hours during those weeks to total 40 hours
- No call requirement
- Potential to float between two campus locations
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Radiation badge required, to be provided by the traveler
- Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
- Experience with Sectra and Epic preferred
- Driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols for physician interpretation
- Report to the site supervisor and radiology manager
- Teal top and black pants scrub color required
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Radius rule of 60 miles applies, with non-local candidates prioritized
- Local candidates considered on a case-by-case basis
- Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from the facility system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
- All requested time off must be submitted at time of application for approval consideration
- Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June-November, peak August-September) all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties
