Description

American Traveler is hiring a Mobile MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience for an outpatient clinic setting.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting supporting mobile MRI services
• Adult acute care patient population
• Schedule is primarily M-F 5x8 shifts (12:30p-9p), with potential for 4x10 or 3x12 shifts (10:30a-9p / 8:30a-9p)
• Weekend rotation includes occasional Saturday shifts (8a-4p) with adjusted weekday hours to maintain a 40-hour week
• No on-call requirement
• Potential to float between Clements Ferry and East Cooper locations
• Performs general MRI exams including implants, elastography, defecography, breast, and cardiac imaging
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment
• Epic EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• BLS certification required
• ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• License required if applicable
• State license not required for this specialty
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by candidate/agency
• Experience with Siemens MRI equipment required
• Experience with Sectra and Epic preferred

Additional Information

• Performs high-quality MRI examinations following established protocols under general supervision
• Reports to the site supervisor and radiology manager
• Teal top and black pants scrub color required
• Candidates must live within 60 miles of the facility to be considered without the radius restriction, though local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Non-local candidates are prioritized for this position
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must have been separated from the system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• First-time travelers may be considered for this role
• During hurricane season (June-November), all staff including contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties
