Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Operating Room position in New York City, requiring a NYS RN license and 2+ years of OR experience, with preferred scrub and circulate skills across multiple specialties.
Details
- Evening shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Hospital-based OR setting in New York, NY
- Preferred experience in General, Robotics, Plastics, and Orthopedic surgical specialties
- Candidates who can both scrub and circulate are preferred
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted NYS RN license required; candidates actively applying for licensure may be considered with proof of completed application
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of OR experience required
- Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year in the same specialty are required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates living within 60 miles of the facility are eligible to apply but may be considered at a reduced rate
- Candidates with prior work history at any Northwell or Nuvance Health location may be subject to an extended eligibility review process
- Timekeeping is managed through Kronos
