Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele position with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience and Epic proficiency required.
Details
- Inpatient Med/Surg unit with telemetry capability
- Patient population includes general medical/surgical, observation, respiratory, palliative, end-of-life, hospice, psychiatric observation, and diabetic patients
- Surgical and surgical observation patients are also part of the caseload
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend (EOW) required; holiday coverage as needed
- Floating may be required across all facilities within the health system
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active NC or compact RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience is mandatory
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Copy of driver's license required for consideration
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- All RNs must pass a Pass/Fail EKG exam during onboarding — two attempts are allowed; candidates should prepare in advance as study materials are not provided by the facility
- Prior Charge RN experience is preferred
- Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
