Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in New Jersey, requiring an active NJ RN license and current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Details
- Labor & Delivery unit at an acute care hospital setting
- PM shift: 7p–7a, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours per week
- 13-week travel contract
- Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required on an as-needed basis
- No on-call required
- Epic EMR used for charting
Requirements
- Active NJ RN license required (compact license accepted if NJ is the compact state of residence)
- Current certifications required: BLS and ACLS
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred
- Epic EMR experience strongly recommended
- 2 references required for consideration
Additional Information
- Perform thorough, systematic patient assessments and deliver individualized nursing care throughout the labor and delivery continuum
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of the nursing process and patient progress in Epic
- Demonstrate knowledge of emergency equipment and procedures relevant to the L&D setting
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date; a break is required before returning to a new assignment
