Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) night shift position in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 3 years of med/surg experience and Epic proficiency.

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a large academic medical center setting
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Rotating weekend and holiday coverage required
• Floating required to units of equivalent or lower acuity within the organization
• Epic EMR — experience required
• Telemetry monitoring required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact license recognized in Ohio required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of med/surg experience required
• IV insertion proficiency required
• Telemetry experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• 2 professional references required: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or formal leadership role (e.g., Supervisor); a Charge RN is acceptable as the 2nd reference — co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Local candidates are accepted at the same bill rate — no radius restriction applies
• Former employees of the facility are eligible after a 6-month separation period
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your profile and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract duration
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after booking — candidates outside Ohio will need to travel to an in-state fingerprinting location or receive a mailed packet to complete urgently
