Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical/Surgical Respiratory Intermediate Care position at a Level 1 trauma hospital in Wichita, KS, requiring a KS or compact RN license and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• 39-bed private room Medical/Surgical/Respiratory Intermediate Care unit at a Level 1 trauma facility
• Day shift: 07:00–19:30
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Active KS or compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA accepted)
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required
• MOAB Moderate Risk De-Escalation Training required
• Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Skills checklist required for consideration

Additional Information

• Respiratory intermediate care experience is beneficial given the unit's patient population
