Description
American Traveler is hiring a Sonographer with at least 1 year of experience and RDMS certifications for a 13-week acute care assignment at a Level II Trauma facility.
Details
- Acute care hospital setting at a Level II Trauma Center
- Ultrasound/Sonography unit
- Rotating day shift schedule on a two-week rotation: Week 1 – Wednesday & Thursday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–6:30 PM, Saturday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; Week 2 – Sunday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM, Wednesday & Thursday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–6:30 PM
- 9-hour shifts
- 13-week contract
- Epic EMR in use
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of sonography experience
- Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
- RDMS – Abdomen (RDMS-AB) via ARDMS required
- RDMS – OB/GYN (RDMS-OB/GYN) via ARDMS required
- License required if applicable
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
- Candidates who have previously worked for this health system must have an end date at least 12 months prior to their application date
- Orientation consists of 12 hours upon start
