Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Chandler, AZ.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
• Speech Therapy department serving an adult patient population
• Common diagnoses include neurological, orthopedic, cardiac, and fall-related conditions
• Caseload of 8 patients per therapist, supported by 1-2 therapy assistants and 1 rehab tech
• Specialized equipment includes Vector, LiteGait, Saebo, InMotion ARM, Senaptec Sensory, and Technobody systems
• EHR system: UDS
• Day shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• Weekends on request
• Float option to a sister facility approximately 8 miles away
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience required
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• AHA certifications required
• Strong time management skills and experience with point-of-care documentation
• Knowledge of GG Scoring required
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
• Active SLP license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive rehabilitation to adult inpatient populations
• Wine-colored scrubs required
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
• Candidates who are currently employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
