Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an ED Boarder Program position in Boston requiring an active MA RN license and at least 1 year of travel nursing experience.

Details

Position is based in a hospital ED Boarder Program, a fast-paced, high-turnover environment distinct from a traditional inpatient unit
Nurses provide care to patients in hallway spaces as well as bays, and must navigate multiple care areas to retrieve patients, medications, and supplies
Schedule is 36 hours per week with rotating day/night shifts
Every other weekend required
Every other holiday required
Epic is used for charting

Requirements

Active MA RN license required at time of consideration — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
Active BLS certification required from AHA only
Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
2 professional references required
Flu vaccine required; no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the Boston facility are eligible to apply
No validated parking is available at this Boston location; public transportation is recommended, and public parking lots are available at the candidate's expense
Time and attendance is tracked via UKG/Kronos
RTO requests must be disclosed at the time of consideration
