Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position in California, requiring 3+ years of ICU experience and a current CA RN license.

Details

  • Evening shift schedule, 4x8-hour shifts (15:00–23:30)
  • May float to other units within scope of practice, including to alternate campuses
  • Travelers can expect approximately 1.5 hours advance notice when floating is required; shuttle transportation is provided between campuses
  • Every other weekend (EOW) plus additional weekend shifts based on unit need
  • On-call as needed

Requirements

  • Active CA RN license required
  • Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
  • Minimum 3 years of RN ICU experience required
  • Minimum 6 months of travel nursing experience required
  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates

Additional Information

  • Candidates who have previously worked at this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
  • Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
  • Two supervisor references obtained within the past year are required for consideration
