Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring ACLS and BLS certifications, working night shifts at a 42-bed unit in North Carolina.

Details

• 42-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Diverse patient population including cardiac, diabetes, CHF, COPD, renal, general surgery, and orthopedic cases
• May be assigned IMCU patients based on census needs
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Schedule is 3x12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Weekends and holidays are required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating to units of like or lesser acuity may be required

Requirements

• Active NC or compact RN license required
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI)
• Proficiency with insulin, heparin, and Lasix drips required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

Additional Information

• Unit team is composed of RNs, LPNs, PCTs, CNA/Unit Secretaries
• Candidates will be reviewed and interviewed by the hiring manager
• Any requested time off (RTO) must be submitted with your application to be honored at time of offer
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
