Description
American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 NICU and Level 2 Adult ICU experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract in a NICU setting in Washington State.
Details
- NICU unit at a regional medical center in Washington State
- Level 3 NICU environment
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
- Every other weekend required per CBA
- Floating required between internal departments and all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Staffing ratios follow RT matrix
- No on-call required
- Epic EMR required
- 13-week contract with a high probability of multi-contract extension
Requirements
- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
- Washington State RRT license required in hand at time of consideration
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- NICU Level III or IV experience is a hard stop requirement
- Level 2 Adult ICU experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- License required if applicable
Additional Information
- First-time travelers are eligible to apply for this position
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- While every effort is made to keep travelers on a consistent shift for the duration of the contract, shift assignment is typically confirmed one to two weeks in advance
- Minimal RTO is expected for this position; a small number of days may be approved
