Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with Level 3 NICU and Level 2 Adult ICU experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract in a NICU setting in Washington State.

Details

• NICU unit at a regional medical center in Washington State
• Level 3 NICU environment
• Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Every other weekend required per CBA
• Floating required between internal departments and all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
• Staffing ratios follow RT matrix
• No on-call required
• Epic EMR required
• 13-week contract with a high probability of multi-contract extension

Requirements

• Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license
• Washington State RRT license required in hand at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• NICU Level III or IV experience is a hard stop requirement
• Level 2 Adult ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are eligible to apply for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• While every effort is made to keep travelers on a consistent shift for the duration of the contract, shift assignment is typically confirmed one to two weeks in advance
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position; a small number of days may be approved
