Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Perioperative RN for a 13-week outpatient surgery center assignment in the Atlanta area, requiring a GA or compact RN license and no local candidates within 50 miles.
Details
- Outpatient surgical setting in the Sandy Springs area of Atlanta
- Perioperative nursing role supporting outpatient surgical procedures
- 8-hour day shifts, 5 days per week
- No weekend or holiday shifts required
- No on-call responsibilities
- 13-week assignment
Requirements
- Active GA RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current AHA certifications required (must not be expired)
- Perioperative nursing experience required
- Driver's License required for consideration
- Permanent address must match what is on file with both the Driver's License and RN license
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Former permanent staff returning as travelers must have taken a minimum 2-year break prior to applying
- EMR experience should be documented within work history
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed upfront prior to offer — requests cannot be made after an offer is accepted
- References are not required for initial consideration but will be needed during the compliance process
