Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Cath Lab position at a 536-bed academic teaching hospital in Portland, OR, requiring Cath Lab experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Short-term acute care hospital setting with 536 total staff beds
- Cardiac Cath Lab unit
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00–17:00)
- On-call required on both weekdays and weekends
- Weekends not required
- Floating between multiple facilities within Oregon is expected, including locations in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, Seaside, and Saint Vincent
- Charting performed in Epic (experience required)
- Scrubs are provided for Cath Lab staff
Requirements
- Active Oregon RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Teaching hospital environment
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
- Former permanent Providence employees must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
