Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVOR position requiring a minimum of 18 months of CVOR experience and an active GA or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in a Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) unit at an acute care hospital in Atlanta, GA
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Strong endovascular experience required as part of the role's case mix
• Cardiac and vascular procedures performed, including cannulations and aortic cases

Requirements

• Active GA or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years in a setting of similar acuity
• Strong endovascular (wires) experience required
• Proficiency across cardiac and vascular procedures, including cannulations and aortic cases (adult and/or congenital)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties for cardiovascular and endovascular surgical cases
• Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to the same facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
• RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if not overlapping with a holiday period, or a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract, and consecutive RTO days during the holiday period will not be approved
