Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a travel Oncology position in New Orleans, LA, requiring at least 1 year of oncology experience and Epic proficiency.
Details
- Oncology unit within a hospital setting
- Patient ratio of 1:7
- Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00–16:30)
- No on-call, float, or weekend requirements
Requirements
- Active LA or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and ONS/ONCC
- Preferred certification: OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
- Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
- Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
Additional Information
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Navy blue scrubs required
- Maximum of 5 days of RTO for the duration of the contract
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
