Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level III NICU travel assignment in Portland, OR, requiring at least 2 years of Level III NICU experience and active OR RN licensure.

Details

  • Level III NICU in a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
  • Patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 depending on acuity
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
  • Every other weekend required
  • On-call required as agreed upon with the RN
  • Floating between units and facilities within Oregon is expected based on unit needs and skill set
  • Epic EMR used; experience required
  • Scrubs: any color accepted

Requirements

  • Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience required
  • Epic EMR proficiency required
  • A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

  • Travelers may float between multiple facilities across Oregon, including locations in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, and Seaside
  • Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
  • Former permanent staff of the health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
  • Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including location and dates
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
  • No parking fee on-site
