Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced NICU RN for a Level III NICU travel assignment in Portland, OR, requiring at least 2 years of Level III NICU experience and active OR RN licensure.
Details
- Level III NICU in a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
- Patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 depending on acuity
- Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
- Every other weekend required
- On-call required as agreed upon with the RN
- Floating between units and facilities within Oregon is expected based on unit needs and skill set
- Epic EMR used; experience required
- Scrubs: any color accepted
Requirements
- Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
- Current BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- A personal vehicle is required for this assignment
- At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
Additional Information
- Travelers may float between multiple facilities across Oregon, including locations in Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, and Seaside
- Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment
- Former permanent staff of the health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Candidates must disclose any prior work history with Providence facilities, including location and dates
- Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
- No parking fee on-site
