Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology Clinic position requiring a NC or Compact RN license in hand and a Monday–Friday day shift schedule.
Details
- Outpatient oncology clinic setting
- Day shift schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
- 13-week contract
- Orientation sessions are held bi-weekly
Requirements
- Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
- Current BLS certification in hand
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred; candidates with less experience may be considered
- One supervisory professional reference from within the last year required for consideration
- Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine is required between October 31 and March 31 with no exemptions accepted
- Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are eligible; candidates within this radius qualify for a local rate
- Orientations are scheduled on a bi-weekly basis

Unnecessarily strict policies when sick/injured; doctor notes are not accepted as an “excuse”, micromanagement, unprofessional leadership, bullying, favoritism and unfairness, not willing to train certain people in certain areas or approve certain people’s requests off , heavy workload and constantly being rushed, micromanaged, and distracted by gossip/drama while having to pay attention to detail, not willing to repair/replace certain functions.
