Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Medical ICU (MICU) position at a Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital in Florida, requiring a minimum of 18 months of MICU experience and a valid FL or compact RN license.

Details

• Medical ICU (MICU) unit within a 521-bed short-term acute care, Magnet-designated academic teaching hospital
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract
• Floating is required within scope to all three affiliated campuses (within approximately 20 miles)
• Block scheduling is not available
• Charting is done via Epic EMR
• Free parking is available in any unrestricted space

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current AHA or Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIHSS certification required prior to start date
• Minimum 18 months of MICU experience required; 2 years preferred
• Epic EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted upfront; RTO added after submission will likely not be approved
• This is a nicotine-free facility — all candidates must be nicotine-free; a negative 10-panel drug screen including cotinine (nicotine) test is required
• Time-sensitive onboarding modules must be completed promptly upon assignment confirmation
• White scrubs are required
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months across any Cleveland Clinic locations, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at any Cleveland Clinic location
