Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active PA or compact RN license.
Details
- Acute care hospital ICU setting within a Level I Trauma, academic teaching facility
- Adult patient population
- Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 3:1
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- Floating required; no on-call responsibilities
- Charting via Epic (experience required)
Requirements
- Active PA or compact RN license currently in hand
- Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
- Experience in a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital setting required
- Critical Care Float Pool experience preferred
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Copies of current certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provide nursing care to critically ill adult patients in an ICU environment
- RTO must be declared upfront prior to consideration
- Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted, though at a different pay rate
