Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position at a Level I Trauma teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and an active PA or compact RN license.

Details

• Acute care hospital ICU setting within a Level I Trauma, academic teaching facility
• Adult patient population
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 3:1
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:30)
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Floating required; no on-call responsibilities
• Charting via Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active PA or compact RN license currently in hand
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Experience in a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital setting required
• Critical Care Float Pool experience preferred
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Copies of current certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to critically ill adult patients in an ICU environment
• RTO must be declared upfront prior to consideration
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted, though at a different pay rate
• Skills checklist required
