Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Swing Unit position at a Critical Access Hospital in Williamsport, IN, requiring at least 3 years of experience and telemetry monitoring skills.

• 16-bed Medical Surgical/Step Down Unit within a Critical Access Hospital
• Rural healthcare setting serving a diverse patient population
• Telemetry monitoring is performed on this unit
• Day shift: 6:30 AM – 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active IN RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS certification required (must be AHA-issued)
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Nursys verification and primary source license verification required within 30 days prior to start

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include patient assessment, care planning, medication administration, telemetry monitoring, and patient/family education
• Must be able to recognize and respond to changes in patient condition, provide stabilization, and facilitate transfers to higher levels of care
• Coordinates care with the interdisciplinary team
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking skills are essential for this role
