Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry & PCU Float Pool position in Sioux City, IA, requiring at least 2 years of step-down experience and active IA or compact RN license.
Details
- Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 3x12-hour shifts per week
- Every other weekend required
- Every other holiday required
- No on-call responsibilities
- Floating required within the same discipline across local campuses, including potential float to the ED
- EMR: Epic
Requirements
- Active IA single-state or compact RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIHSS
- Minimum 2 years of step-down (PCU/progressive care) experience required
- Driver's license required for consideration
- One supervisory reference (within 2 years of employment/contract) required for consideration
- Skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
Additional Information
- Contributes professional and clinical knowledge in the provision and management of patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
- Candidates who were employed by this facility within the past 12 months may not be eligible for consideration
- Orientation is offered on a bi-weekly schedule throughout the year
