Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position in Great Barrington, MA, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and an active MA RN license in hand.

Details

• Critical Access Hospital emergency department setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 9:30 AM to 10:00 PM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required as needed
• No on-call responsibilities
• ED triage and cardiac room experience preferred and given first consideration
• Meditech Expanse EMR experience highly preferred

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required and must be in hand at time of profile upload
• Active AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience required
• BSN preferred
• IV certification preferred
• ENPC and CEN preferred
• Must have a personal vehicle for this position
• Must provide 1 supervisory signed reference from within the past 2 years of employment
• Current ED skills checklist (within the past year) required

Additional Information

• Functions independently under the general guidance of the Director, following unit-specific guidelines, protocols, and policies
• Must demonstrate strong critical thinking skills and the ability to maintain emotional stability in emergency settings
• Utilizes time management, communication, planning, delegating, and problem-solving in patient care delivery
• Personal scrubs of any color are acceptable
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
