Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Maple Grove, MN, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience including high-risk and antepartum care.

Details

• Hospital Labor & Delivery unit
• Patient population includes neonates, newborns, adolescents, and adults
• High-risk labor and delivery cases and antepartum care
• Fetal monitoring performed regularly
• Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
• Rotating shifts of 12 hours (7:00 AM–7:00 PM and 7:00 PM–7:00 AM)
• 24–36 hours per week
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active MN RN license required (temporary MN RN license accepted)
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Current NRP certification
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• High-risk Labor & Delivery experience required
• Antepartum experience required
• Fetal monitoring experience required
• Experience with newborn, adolescent, and adult populations required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current skills checklist (within the past year) pertinent to L&D
• 2 supervisory references with dates of employment listed

Additional Information

• Provides holistic, patient- and family-centered care within the Labor & Delivery setting
• Responsibilities include nursing assessment, diagnosis, outcome identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Develops and revises patient care plans and coordinates care across disciplines
• Delegates tasks to other care team members as appropriate
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of initial consideration, as they may not be honored if submitted afterward
