Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg Telemetry RN for a night shift hospital position requiring an active Ohio or compact RN license and 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule with three 12-hour shifts, 7pm-7:30am
• Assignment length of 18 weeks, with 13 weeks also accepted
• Travelers expected to work every other holiday

Requirements

• Active RN license (Ohio or Compact) in hand
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA or American Red Cross) required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (charge RN references accepted); references must be from assignments worked in the past 12 months
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only

Additional Information

• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required and a maximum of two attempts allowed
• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• Locals accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• All requested time off must be discussed during the interview process
