Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a night shift assignment requiring 18 months of recent MS/Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry (MS/Tele) unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 20-week assignment providing winter coverage, with 13-week assignments also considered

Requirements

• Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Must be willing to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• One professional reference required from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the MS/Tele specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months (Charge RN references accepted)
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care on a Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• PBDS assessment is waived for this position
• Nurses are exempt from the facility's nicotine-free requirement
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Extensions may allow travelers to remain on assignment for up to 18 months total
• A 6-month break is required before returning to any Cleveland Clinic Health System location
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
