Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care / PCU Step Down position requiring at least 2 years of experience and active certifications including BLS, ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS.

Details

• Position is in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU Step Down / IMCU) within a hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 13-week contract with 36 hours per week
• No self-scheduling — must be open to working any day of the week

Requirements

• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Active certifications required: BLS, ACLS, CPI (Prevention First), and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience in an IMCU or PCU Step Down setting
• Social Security number (full SSN preferred; last 4 digits acceptable), driver's license, and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required for consideration
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

• CPI requirement for this unit is 'Prevention First,' a 30-minute on-demand video available at crisisprevention.com for approximately $25
• Candidates who have previously worked for Tenet Healthcare as a permanent employee must obtain MSP approval prior to being considered
• Requested time off (RTO) should not exceed 7 days for the duration of the contract
