Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery (L&D) travel position in Flowood, MS, requiring at least 2 years of L&D experience and Advanced NRP certification.
Details
- Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Labor & Delivery (L&D) unit in an acute care hospital setting
- 8-week contract
Requirements
- Active MS or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, Advanced NRP, and Fetal Monitoring
- No certification may expire within the first 30 days of the contract start date
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
- US Social Security Number required
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

- Provides nursing care to Labor & Delivery patients
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
