Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Electrophysiology (EP) Lab position in Tennessee, requiring prior EP Lab experience and a TN or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Electrophysiology (EP) Lab setting within a Cardiology unit
• Patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, CRT devices) and EP ablation cases
• Day shift: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• Five 8-hour shifts per week
• Occasional late stays may be required to complete procedures, typically no more than once per pay period

Requirements

• Active RN license — TN or compact license required
• BLS certification required (AHA-issued only)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Prior Electrophysiology Lab experience required
• Experience assisting with cardiac device implants and EP studies/ablation procedures required
• Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills
• Candidates must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Full SSN and full DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for EP and cardiac device patients
• Monitor patients throughout electrophysiology studies, ablation procedures, and device implants
• Collaborate with physicians, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure safe and efficient patient care
• Maintain procedural documentation and uphold all regulatory and quality standards
• Support patient education and discharge planning as appropriate
• Local candidates are accepted, but a radius rule applies — local candidates may be subject to a reduced rate depending on distance from the facility
