Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with at least 18 months of experience, OR comfort, and GE equipment proficiency for a PM shift position in a large acute care hospital setting in Morristown, NJ.

Details

• Large 900-bed acute care hospital radiology department
• Must be comfortable performing X-Ray in the OR
• Experience with GE imaging equipment required
• Epic EMR used for charting
• PM shift, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
• 5x8-hour shifts per week, 40 hours per week
• No on-call required
• May be required to float to a nearby sister hospital

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of experience as an X-Ray Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited radiography school
• Active NJ State RT license required
• Current ARRT certification
• Current BLS certification
• Proficiency with a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting, and proper care
• Must be able to work independently in a large acute care hospital environment
• Active NJ license required if applicable
• Two professional references required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal, and professional guidelines
• Maintain imaging equipment, assess patient safety, and ensure procedural and physiological comfort throughout procedures
• Monitor need for procedure revisions and coordinate daily imaging procedures
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• Travelers who have been on assignment at this facility for one year must take a 30–60 day break before returning to a new assignment
