Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring a CA RN license, ACLS, PALS, and at least 1 year of IR or Cardiac Cath Lab nursing experience.
Details
- Interventional Radiology unit within a hospital setting
- Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Patient population includes a wide variety of circumstances including emergent and unpredictable situations
- OSHA Risk Category I (High Risk) environment with exposure to bodily fluids and substances
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
- Minimum 1 year of experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Cath Lab nursing
- Background in imaging services, IR, cath lab, or critical care preferred
- Ability to assist with lifting, supporting, maneuvering, and repositioning patients weighing over 200 lbs
- Ability to make fine discriminations in sound
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Candidates must not have previously worked at this facility within the last year
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates; local candidates may be considered at a different rate
- Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
- Former employees or travelers must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
