Description
American Traveler is hiring a CA-licensed RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position requiring BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Details
- Med/Surg Telemetry unit in a hospital setting
- Cares for patients across all age groups and developmental stages
- Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active CA RN license required
- Current BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
- 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration
- Copies of all current certifications required for consideration
Additional Information
- Manages care for assigned patients and directs ancillary staff activities
- Performs comprehensive physiological and psychological patient assessments
- Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized patient care plans
- Demonstrates charge nurse leadership capabilities
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
- Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the assignment
