Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Special Care Nursery position requiring an active MA RN license, NRP certification, and availability for rotating shifts including every other weekend.
Details
- Special Care Nursery (SCN) unit in a hospital setting
- 36-hour per week schedule consisting of three 12-hour shifts
- Rotating day and night shifts (7:00a–7:30p and 7:15p–7:15a)
- Shift rotation is based on department needs
- Every other weekend required
- Rotating holiday coverage required
- EMR: Epic (charting)
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required; no pending or conditional licenses accepted
- Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
- Current NRP certification required (AHA only)
- Active MA RN license must be in hand at the time of consideration; no pending licenses accepted
- 2 professional references required
Additional Information
- Flu vaccine is required; no religious or medical exemptions are accepted
- Local candidates are welcome; candidates with a permanent residence within 60 miles of Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston are considered local
- Time keeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
- No validated parking is available at Boston locations; public parking rates range from $17–$22 daily
- Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
