Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiac Cath Lab RN for a 13-week travel contract in Florida, requiring a minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience and proficiency in both Cath and EP procedures.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab setting within a hospital environment
- Unit features 3 cath rooms and 4 EP rooms
- 1:1 patient ratio
- Procedures performed include diagnostic cardiac cath, PCI, Watchman/LAAO, EP studies and ablation, and device implants
- Cath/EP Lab equipment used throughout the unit
- Documentation system: Meditech
- Schedule is 4x10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- On-call requirement of 8–12 call shifts per month, including 2 weekend call shifts (Saturday and Sunday)
Requirements
- Active FL RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA or ARC accepted; no certifications may expire within the first 30 days of the start date)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
- Proficiency in both Cath and EP procedures strongly preferred
- US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
- Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
- No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
Additional Information
- Surgical scrubs are provided by the facility
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible for this position
- First-time travelers are not explicitly excluded, but proficiency in Cath/EP is expected
