Description

American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg night shift position in Durant, OK, requiring 2+ years of experience and ACLS/PALS certifications.

Details

• Work on a Med/Surg unit (2nd floor, 34 beds; 3rd floor, 38 beds) in an acute care hospital setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Floating required
• Charting is done in Cerner
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OK RN license or valid Compact RN license currently in hand
• Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS must be obtained within 6 months of start date)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
• Cerner EMR experience
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the contract start date
• Valid U.S. driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO is capped at 4 days/nights per 13-week contract, and individual RTO requests must be less than one week
• Black scrubs are required
• Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
• Blocked scheduling is not approved for this assignment
