Description
American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for a Med/Surg position in Durant, OK, requiring 2+ years of experience and active ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications.
Details
- Day shift position, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, in a hospital Med/Surg unit (2nd floor)
- 34-bed unit on the 2nd floor; Med/Surg 3rd floor has 38 beds
- Patient ratio of 6:1
- Floating required
- No on-call required
- EMR: Cerner
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active RN license (OK or Compact) required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS (PALS must be obtained within 6 months of start date)
- Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg RN experience required
- Cerner EMR experience preferred
- No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
- Valid driver's license required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position
- Max RTO of 4 days/nights per 13-week contract; RTO requests must be less than one week in duration
- All certifications must remain active through at least the first 30 days of the contract
- Black scrubs required
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years are not eligible for this position
- Block scheduling is not available for this assignment
