Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an Emergency Department position requiring a MA RN license, Epic experience, and a minimum of 18 months of ER experience.
Details
- Emergency Department (ER) position in a hospital setting
- Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts, 36 hrs/week)
- Every other weekend required (Friday and Saturday)
- Every other holiday required
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 18 months of ER experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Two professional references required for consideration, at least one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or higher
- Candidates must reside more than 200 miles from the facility to qualify for this position
- Clean nursing license required — no prior disciplinary actions on record
Additional Information
- Orientation includes two pass/fail exams: a medication exam and a telemetry/EKG exam, each with only one attempt allowed — failure results in immediate contract cancellation
- Study materials will be provided during the compliance process and facility-directed in-services (FDIs) to help prepare for orientation exams
