Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with PEDS experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a pediatric inpatient/outpatient facility in New Orleans, LA.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient radiology coverage in a pediatric hospital setting
• 3x12-hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Weekend and floating assignments are required
• Fluoroscopy and surgical experience required for this role
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of radiology technologist experience required
• Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
• ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
• Louisiana state license required if applicable
• Fluoroscopy and surgery experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
• A copy of a valid Driver's License is required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provides clinical services in accordance with radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department function
• Demonstrates proficiency in the use of all x-ray equipment and performance of x-ray protocols and procedures
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Any scrub color is acceptable
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
