Description
American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with PEDS experience and a minimum of 2 years of experience for a 13-week travel contract at a pediatric inpatient/outpatient facility in New Orleans, LA.
Details
- Inpatient and outpatient radiology coverage in a pediatric hospital setting
- 3x12-hour day shifts, Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
- Weekend and floating assignments are required
- Fluoroscopy and surgical experience required for this role
- Epic EMR experience required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of radiology technologist experience required
- Pediatric (PEDS) experience required
- ARRT-R and BLS certifications required
- Louisiana state license required if applicable
- Fluoroscopy and surgery experience required
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required
- Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
- A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
- A copy of a valid Driver's License is required for consideration
Additional Information
- Provides clinical services in accordance with radiology practice standards to ensure optimal department function
- Demonstrates proficiency in the use of all x-ray equipment and performance of x-ray protocols and procedures
- First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
- Any scrub color is acceptable
- Up to 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
- Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year before being considered for a travel assignment
