Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) position requiring Level 1 facility experience and Epic proficiency, working nights on a 13-week contract.
Details
- Cardiac surgery intensive care unit (CVICU) setting at a Level 1 facility
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active VA or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 12 months of CSICU/CVICU experience at a Level 1 facility
- Epic EMR experience required — no exceptions
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE accreditation); BSN preferred, but diploma and ADN graduates accepted
- 2 professional references at supervisor level or above required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates must not have been employed by VCU Health within the previous 12 months
- This is a drug-free and tobacco-free workplace; smoking is not permitted anywhere on campus
- Natural nail policy is enforced at this facility
- Travelers are not guaranteed holidays off; any time-off requests must be submitted at time of application or they may be declined
