Description
American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including ASD closures and cardiac stent placement.
Details
- Cardiac Cath Lab setting in an acute care hospital environment
- Procedures include diagnostic cardiac catheterization, interventional cardiac catheterization, ASD closures, and cardiac stent placement
- Adult patient population
- Equipment includes Philips and Siemens systems, PACS, and fluoroscopy
- 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with occasional late shifts 1-2 times per week
- Weekday call coverage required 1 day per week, Monday through Thursday
- Weekend call rotation every 4th to 5th weekend, Friday 5:00 PM through Monday 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of Cath Lab experience required
- ARRT (R) or CCI RCIS certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Proficiency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab procedures, including ASD closures and cardiac stent placement
- Experience with PACS, fluoroscopy, Philips, and Siemens equipment required
- Ability to interpret dysrhythmias
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
- Must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
