Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position at a Level 1 Trauma Center, requiring 2-3 years of OR experience and the ability to perform highly specialized surgical cases.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room setting at a Level 1 Trauma Center
• Specialized surgical cases including vascular, neuro, and robotic procedures
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM)
• One weekend shift required per every 4-week schedule (8-hour shifts)
• On-call requirements to be discussed during interview, with a 30-minute response time
• Holiday coverage required as needed

Requirements

• Active Michigan (MI) RN license required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience required
• Scrub experience in any OR specialty preferred
• Level 1 Trauma Center experience preferred

• Well-rounded OR team members with experience across multiple surgical specialties are strongly preferred
• Holiday time off requests are not guaranteed, as holiday coverage is typically required
