Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT (CV or VI) certification and experience in neuro and peripheral interventions for a 13-week contract at a Level I Trauma Center.

Details

  • Inpatient and outpatient IR department with 4 angiography suites (two single-plane and two biplane)
  • Department also includes 1 dedicated CT scanner and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management
  • Procedures include vascular, neuro, and oncologic minimally invasive interventions
  • 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Possible weekend coverage required
  • Must be available to work or take call for one holiday per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff
  • Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

  • ARRT certification required — CV or VI
  • Current BLS (AHA) required
  • Virginia state license preferred; any active state license (in hand or pending) is accepted — license required if applicable
  • Minimum experience in neuro and peripheral interventional procedures required
  • PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration
  • Two professional references required for consideration

  • This is a Level I Trauma Center for both adult and pediatric patients serving as an acute care teaching hospital
  • The IR team provides minimally invasive procedures focused on precision and reduced recovery times as alternatives to traditional surgery
