Description

American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level I Trauma Center teaching hospital, requiring ARRT CV or VI certification and experience in neuro and peripheral interventions.

Details

• Inpatient/outpatient IR department with 4 angiography suites (two single-plane, two biplane)
• Unit includes 1 dedicated CT scanner and 1 multipurpose fluoroscopy suite for pain management
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM
• Possible weekend coverage required
• Must be available to work or take call one holiday per 13-week contract, in rotation with staff
• Epic charting system experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist
• ARRT registered in CV or VI required, ARRT R and additional CI or VI certifications preferred
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Experience in neuro and peripheral interventions required
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Active state license required, Virginia license preferred with emergency authorization available for pending licenses

• Work in a comprehensive IR department offering minimally invasive procedures for vascular, neuro, and oncologic conditions
• Facility is a Level I Trauma Center for adult and pediatric patients
• Teaching hospital environment with advanced imaging technologies focused on precision and reduced recovery times
• Local candidates are not accepted
• First-time travelers are not accepted for this role
• Previous employees must have a minimum one-year separation before returning as a traveler
• Facility does not allow travelers to return after having worked 365 days on assignment, regardless of separation period, with exceptions reviewed case by case
