Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab RN for a Stroke Unit position in Boston requiring an active MA RN license and AHA certifications.

Details

  • 30-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit with private rooms, specializing in stroke and brain injury patients
  • Patient population also includes those with neurological diagnoses (MS, Parkinson's) and musculoskeletal disorders requiring rehab (post-op hip and knee)
  • Rotating evening and night shift schedule: 7p–7a (12-hour shifts) on weekdays, and 3–11:30pm (8-hour shifts) every other weekend
  • Charting is performed in Epic
  • 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Active MA RN license required — no pending or conditional licenses accepted
  • Current BLS certification from AHA only
  • Primary source verification of professional license required (both NURSYS and BON)
  • 2 professional references required for consideration
  • Flu vaccine required — no religious or medical exemptions accepted

Additional Information

  • Provide inpatient rehabilitation nursing care to stroke and brain injury patients, as well as those with neuro and musculoskeletal diagnoses
  • Time and attendance tracked via UKG/Kronos
  • No validated parking available at this Boston location; public parking is available nearby, and public transportation is accessible
  • Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are eligible but will receive a reduced rate
  • Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of consideration
