Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Telemetry position on an Internal Medicine unit in Atlanta, GA, requiring strong pulmonary experience and an active GA or Compact RN license in hand.
Details
- Position is located on an Internal Medicine Telemetry unit (6E) within a hospital setting in Atlanta, GA
- Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts
- 13-week contract
- Telemetry interpretation required
- Experience with trachs and chest tubes is expected
- Epic EMR used
Requirements
- Active Georgia or Compact RN license currently in hand is required
- Minimum 18 months of RN experience required
- Strong pulmonary background required
- Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications required
- Proficiency in telemetry interpretation required
- Experience with trachs and chest tubes required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Prior travel experience preferred
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible
- Former permanent staff of Emory or Houston facilities must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system; if returning to this specific facility, a minimum 18-month separation is required
- RTO is limited to a maximum of 5 days per contract if not requested around a holiday, or a maximum of 3 days if RTO falls on or near a holiday
- Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per contract
- RTO requests must be spread out and will not be approved if clustered consecutively around holidays
